  • I think that the central argument of “Rom-Com” vs “Romantic Comedy” should focus on the recent compartmentalization and denigration of pop culture entities. The term “Rom-Com” also brings with it a certain sense of dismissal – a sort of insult to the piece or person.

    “J-Law” was the celebrity that tripped up some stairs and flipped off a camera. “Jennifer Lawrence” is the actress that wowed audiences with her performance in Winter’s Bone.

    “Bennifer” represents our modern view of Ben Affleck and Jennifer Lopez’s relationship. Spencer Tracy and Katherine Hepburn’s relationship can best be summed up as “A Clandestine Romance.”
